Our 30-day promise

You may return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange.

To be eligible, items must be:

• Unused, unworn and unwashed, with any tags still attached
• In their original condition and packaging
• Free from signs of wear, marks or odours (we are sure you understand — these are pieces for newborns)

How to start a return

Email us at Threadsandthings.au@outlook.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Once approved, we will provide the return address and instructions. Please do not send items back before your return is approved.

Return shipping

Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We recommend a tracked service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

Exchanges

Happy to exchange for a different colour or item, subject to availability — just let us know when you contact us.

Faulty or incorrect items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged or not as ordered, please contact us within 7 days with photos. We will arrange a replacement, exchange or full refund including any shipping costs, at no charge to you.

Sale items & gift cards

Sale items may be eligible for return unless marked as final sale. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under the ACL.
